Justice for All

We live in a world of rules that change based on social or economic status. These rules accommodate a few and are unfair to most. Everyone should be accountable for their actions. I take confidence in this: “They do not belong to this world any more than I do.” John 17:16 My faith is secure!

Standing on God's Word!

Some time ago, a young married mother of two laid down and went to sleep. One this night she had a dream like none before. A dream that fore told destiny.

And so it began,

She sat beside her husband in two chairs across from a long table of 12 men. In the center of the men sat one who was different from the rest. The man was Jesus.

No one spoke, the room was silent. Then Jesus begin to speak. He explained that although she was with child, the baby could not stay. He said the baby would be trapped in her fallopian tube due to a recent procedure she had to prevent more births.

Her husband did not speak nor did he move. He sat silent only looking forward. She looked at him and then to Jesus and immediately she began to plead. Begging Jesus for her unborn baby's life.

Jesus said: No.

She cried and pleaded. Explaining how she already loved and wanted to keep her baby.  She begged him relentlessly with heartfelt tears and cries filled with love and expected mercy.

His answer: No.

Again and again, over and over she cried, begged, and pleaded on the behalf of her unborn child's life.

Realizing her husband was silent and she had to fight alone, she refused to stop. She continued on and on over and over pleading. Then, she could tell Jesus wanted to speak.

His reply: No.

She continued to cry and beg until finally he looked upon her with pity and love. He said: Okay, you can keep the baby. He can stay. But you will not have any help. Only one person will  provide moral support. Maybe half support from another. And, it will not be your husband.

She thanked him and felt the heaviness on her heart lift. Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord. Thank you. I can do it, all by myself.  I can. I will. I will not loose faith.

He said okay.

Then the tables, chairs, men, and Jesus disappeared.

She woke with tears in her eyes. She saw Jesus. My Lord, that happened. That dream was truth.
Deep down she knew, although no physical proof,  she was pregnant. And Jesus told her at conception. She had not missed a cycle. But she knew it was true. She trusted God. She saw and knew Jesus. She heard his words, his voice, she knew.

The time came for her cycle but it did not come. No cycle, so she ran to the store. Pregnancy test: positive. Praise God! Yes! Yes!

To make a long story short, no support from almost all family and friends. She continued to stand on the word of God. She encouraged herself and continued in faith. Mother, Grand-Mother, Husband, Friends all urged her to ride the pregnancy. Not because they didn't want the baby; but, because they where afraid for her life.

Trusting all of God's word. She waited for her one person who would provide support and encouragement. She pressed on and made her doctors appointment. Then finally, one day spoke to her cousin Faye.

Faye was the encourager and provided wisdom and guidance. Her rock! Before going to the doctor's appointment, her cousin warned: when you go to the Doctor, DO NOT DRINK anything he tries to give you!
The Doctor was concerned for her safety and tried very hard to persuade her to abort. He said it will not be a viable birth. I can give you something right now to drink.

Her response NO! Finally, he gave in. But he also gave her a long list of don'ts before her scheduled ultra sound. After countless blood tests, and an early ultrasound, the results revealed the baby was thriving, safe and snug in her uterus .

Now the real work began. She continued to remove everyone from her circle that spoke contrary to the words of God. She stayed deep in the word, encouraged by faith, praying, and filling her atmosphere with only that which praised God.

Why was her faith not moved? Because Jesus said YES. So why listen to man?

God's word is final!

In fact, on January 25, 1999 a health son was born weighing 10'7ozs and 22 inches. His name is Jace.

At the age of 3, Jace taught himself to read. At the age of 5,  on his own, hearing the voice of God accepted Christ as his Lord and personal savior. Walked by himself and answered the questions for himself.

Today he is a 17 year old honor student at SPHS. In less than a year he will graduate. God has blessed him with many talents: actor, musician, and composer. He is a talented bright exceptional Child of the Most High.

Meditation: The young woman in the story is me.
God has already demonstrated his miracles countless times in your life. Why do you doubt him now?

Is it because you are not in his will? Is it because you doubt? Or is it because you are holding on to un-forgiveness?
Whatever the case maybe, right now, today, you have the power to repent and trust in only him.
Remember: If God said yes, it will happen.

Prayer:
Lord, Father God. I love and need you in my life. Lord please forgive me. Please help me to correct any wrongs by giving me the wisdom of knowing what I must do next. Lord I cannot make it without you. Forgive me Lord. I repent and I say yes to your will and your way. Jesus has paid the price for my sins. And I thank you Lord for your plans for my life. Lord, be with me, guide, and protect me in Jesus name.

Amen

All you have to do is believe.  We all have many personal testimonies in which, we can proclaim Gods mercy, grace, goodness, and protection. The list goes on and on. And as the song says: "you cant make me doubt him. I know too much about him."

Finally I also leave you with this: Hebrews 11.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good report.  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:  For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.  Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.  And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,  Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:  Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.  By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.  By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.  By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.  Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.  By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,  Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:  And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:  They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;  (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
Hebrews 11:1-40 KJV

Are you tired?

Are you spinning in a whirlwind of mental cycles? Stuck in a never ending circle of disspair and disappointment? How long will you run from the voice calling to you? You know, the one that screams your name in the middle of the night; and, you wake in a panic, heart jumping, neves shattered, in pure fright?

Actually, it's not a scream. It is a whisper. A faint cry that yells to the essense of your soul.

Moses said:  "Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day." (Deuteronomy 15:5 KJV)

So, how long will you continue chasing your tail like Oscar, the puppy? How long will you call someone else instead of God? How long will you run from the truth? Oh, okay. Don't ponder to long.  We have work to do. We can't afford to wait.

Plus, one may consider this action insane.

Infact, the urban dictionary defines insanity as "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."

Are you insane? Do you have the courage to stop and turn to Jesus? That voice is his whisper that disturbs your soul. Simply, ask him what he requires. Pray and ask him to guild you.

Jesus said: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:27‭-‬28 KJV)

So you see, you can run; but, you cannot hide.

Consider this: Only God's plan for your life will yield fulfilment. You can continue on the road of disappointment and discord; or, you can choose a life filled with challenges that win victories. A life worth living is comprised of purpose and fights the good fight.

There is no time like the present. Discover newness, freedom, peace, and safety in the arms of God.

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:1‭-‬2 KJV)

Issue: We are getting in our own way by operating in our own will.

Solution: Say Yes to God,  obey him and watch the atmosphere shift.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)

Intimacy

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. (Matt 5:8)

A pure heart and an intimate relationship are definitely my desires.

Intimacy defined:

1. A close familiarity or friendship; closeness. 2. A private cozy atmosphere.

This is exactly what I experienced during the last 13 days, strengthening my relationship with my Father, our God and Jesus our Savior.

To accomplish this I entered a secret and sacred place of seclusion. Here, I was able to truly seek his face by prayer and fasting. During this time we grew closer than ever before, enclosed in a pure relationship. Not wanting to leave, I was hesitant to go. I am thankful and grateful, for I now have a new understanding of our value. Virtuous: we are more precious than money, precious stones or even gold.

Three things :

Peace, Provisions, Protection

Peace :

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7 NLT)

God wants us to trust him. He is more than capable of turning every situation around. But first, we have to live a life that is pleasing to him. Worrying about things we cannot change, will not improve the situation. Peace that surpasses all understanding is found by praying to God first instead of trying to find comfort in others. We must trust God and allow him to carry the weight of our burdens, while we patently wait for the answer. Furthermore, we must be grateful and accept God's yes, as well as, his no. We, must learn to be content in all circumstances. Finally, obeying the word of God requires knowledge of the word. Reading, defining and studying scripture is a  bonus that arms you against evil. Scriptures protect our hearts and minds creating an atmosphere of peace. So while we wait, keep praying and reading.

Provisions:

In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, (2 Peter 1:5 NLT)

During this time my soul received nourishments filled with vitamins and minerals called Sermons. For, I did not depend on physical food, but the words ministered daily by the powerful and anointed  men and women of God. So grateful for the feeding, I realized my soul was malnourished during several years in my past. Most importantly, our feeding of the soul must be a daily occurrence. God's provisions not only feed the soul, but, they also fill the heart. And a heart filled with God's nutrients is pure.

Protection:

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (Psalms 18:2 NLT)

God loves us so much. In fact, since he is who he is, he knows us better than we know ourselves. Thus, options are plentiful and planted throughout our path to keep us from hurting ourselves. Meaning, for every trick the enemy throws at us, there is a way of escape. However, this requires the use of discernment. Listening, for and to, guidance from the Holy Spirit, affords God's children the security and safety of a barrier resistant to the evil one. Therefore, be confident, there is safety in the arms of Jesus.

Solution to creating a cozy one on one time with Jesus, seek a place of seclusion that is dedicated to him.

Satan is a LIE!

When the enemy tries to remind you of why you shouldn't. Rebuke his tail. Then, tell him that old memory is exactly why God said YOU should!

Three things : Past, Present, Purpose

Past

Our past, is our past. We all have one. And Sin is one thing we all have in common. However, the sin in our past does not define Gods vision for our purpose. The people who had your ear, are no longer an influence. And their opinions do not matter. Remember this: There is a reason why they were removed from you. God, is God, alone. And, he needs the help of no man. He forgives, protects and grants mercy to whomever he chooses.

Therefore, pay no attention to the people satan sends to remind you of your past. Rebuke him and stop allowing the enemy to distract you. His attack actually means, you are on the right course. So keep walking, smiling, and praising forward in the Will of God.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

Present:

Be thankful for the lessons you learned from your past. They will assist with the opportunities to help others.

Listen, Your past can also be reffered to as your experience. And just like many other professions, experience levels the playing field by giving you the knowledge and wisdom required to go forth and accomplish great works.

The work that is required: God's Will.
We must find a way to reach the wounded. Our siblings, who are hurting need our help. In most cases, the burden and down trotten may think, no one understands, cares, or can relate. Sadly, they may feel alone.

However, God called You to strengthen your brothers and sisters. So, I say embrass all of you. The new you; forgiven, and loved by Christ Jesus. You are unique and God loves you, flaws and all. We are covered by the blood. You are saved. Again, I say rebuck the enemy. Shame and doubt are not of God. They are a distraction Satan wants to use that trips you during your walk.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (1 John 1:7 NIV)

Purpose

When God calls you into your purpose, he will give you everything you need to succeed. He is not a sometimes or almost God. He makes no mistakes. Be encouraged and stay focused. There is much work to be done.

Just as Paul wrote:

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)

Guess what? Satan sees my sin as a weakness. I declare, I will use my repentance to bring people to Christ! I will remain strong and in the will of God. Taking comfort in this: everything works together for the good of those who love the Lord.

So every time Satan surfaces with a new scheme, stand strong in truth. Be prepared. Unfortunately, he will try. But he is a lie!
You are destined! Keep looking to Jesus!

"For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” (John 6:40 NIV)

Do not be discouraged. Continue on your path.

Solution for the enemy reminding you of you past:

(Matthew 13:57‭-‬58 NIV)

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”  And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

Brokenness

The lie:
A heavy heart, crying eyes, sleepless nights, fear and doubt are all tricks the enemy will use to plant a seed of deceit. The deception gives the illusion: no one cares and God does not want to hear about this mistake, trouble, or sorrow again.

Whether or not it is our action or that of someone else, reality is: we find ourselves back in this same feeling of dispair.

Beating ourselves up and  punishing ourselves mentally may cause one to loose faith and eventually disconnect from Jesus.

The Truth:

Always Remember this Jesus said:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10)

How does he distroy ?

By filling the mind of a Christian with anything that takes their mind or focus off God. For when you are focused on the problem and not the Creator you are off balance and have no peace.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:   But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
(Luke 22:31‭-‬32 KJV)

Brokenness is an opportunity to identify the problem and turn it over to Jesus. You can do this by simple praying to him. Jesus is an intercessor who speaks directly to God for us.

Pray without ceasing.
(1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV)

It may be hard. However let God take the burden. Turn it over and stop worrying.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
(Philippians 4:6 KJV)

The company you keep.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)

Knowing this, surround yourself with people of like minds. That will whole heartily pray, encourage, and love you. People without a hidden agenda; who require nothing of you.  But only are an example by walking in the fruits of the spirt showing love and kindness to others.

Trust God ! He loves you and counts the tears you shead. The Lord Our God will correct all wrong, dry your tears, restores, and supplies mercy.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. (Psalms 56:8)

Solution for any type of burden:

Keep praying and keep your faith. Because this is not your battle.

You Remind me

There is something interesting about you. Something familiar, what is it? How do I know you?  Didn't go to the same school. Don't have the same friends. Man this must be fate. I can feel it. He's the type of man I love to date.

Well Lord, he is saved but not big on church. Better yet, he knows the word. So its okay because Jesus, you know his heart. And, I am always there anyway sending up intercessory prayer. So, no need for him to sit in church. If I keep praying, he will change. So yes. I guess. I will commit. This  man may will change my last name.

What is this you say? You love me? Yet, sometimes you are here. And, other times you are not. When you're mad, I'm all kinds of names. I cant believe it, you hit me! Don't apologize, its my fault.  Something is still so very familiar. Nah, I'm tripping. Nevermind, just a crazy thought.

Wait, so now what's going on? What did I do? What are these words you speak? Do I deserve them? I mean I must, look at me. I don't deserve anything else.  So, it must be love and not lust.

Has to be love!  Eventually, I get a call and you apologize.  It must be, just has to be love. I see you from time to time. I know you're busy. You're a man with a plan.  Don't worry, I will continue to wait: however, long it takes.

You have to love me because you keep coming back. What else could it be? My time and disobeidence to God a small sacrifice. I will just pray. God knows my heart. This is my man. So, I will just continue to pray. I heard a whisper in my mind: stop trying to justify. Stop it! I am not that girl. It is not abuse!

Wait, Ruth is the hot topic of discussion. And, Boaz sounds like the truth. An example of the man God has waiting for me. My husband. So do I see any of his characteristics in you? Are you a man after God's own heart:  Provisions, Protection, Marriage? No, I don't see it.

Jesus help me; my life is falling apart.
Pastor said read for understanding. My sister said seek your face. Lord help me to analyze. I need discernment. Jesus, Jesus, please come in and intercede in this place. I'm literally on my face.

God said: I am here.  I've been waiting for you. Be strong and courageous . Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave nor forsake you.  (Deu 31:6)

Jesus is whispering with love and grace. Stop and listen to him calling.  Why do you keep returning to hurt? What makes you repeat this path? He is love. Run to him. He loves you. The enemy lingers in the shadows were hurt and doubt consume you. Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matt 11:28) He constantly repeats: I love you! I love you! Yeah, I know. I know. And Jesus thank you,  But I need some space.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, I remember you.  You are a bad example of a biological presence that was missing from childhood. A forgotten incident that should have stayed in my past. You are the first man to abandon me and tell lies.  Or, was it you that hit my mother? Maybe, it was you that sold everything we owned for a hit. Were you the one who touched me?

Allow me to tell you who you are. You are my first!  The first man to hurt me: my Father. No not literally my Father but a replacement. I replica of a love that was never received: a father's love. So, How could I forget? Truth is: I do not have to forget. But to be delivered, I must forgive.

After so many years, so many tears, Lord I get it. I repent and only seek your peace.
Father, I hear you. Now I understand. Say it again: The thief comes to steal and
Kill and destroy. I came that they may have eternal life.  (John 10:10)

I see you and will continue to rebuke you satan. That was a trap of confusion wrapped with lies and deceit. For years you stole my joy. Not anymore, never again, say it with me Ladies: not today!

Thank you Lord for clarity. I love you Jesus! You are with me.  You never left and you continue to rescue me. Please guard my heart. I will trust you! With you, it will stay.  Free from deception, deceit, and dismay.
But guess what, today I choose to replace the hurt with love and forgiveness. I choose peace.

If you are searching for love, acceptance, validation of man: absent father, abusive husband, boyfriend, addict, someone who claims their example of abuse is love?

Know this:  Jesus is love. We are his family. It is better to be mentally and physically safe in the arms of God, than mistreated, sad and burden by the abusive tongue and hands of a man. Just to say you have one.

He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”  Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.  For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:48‭-‬50 NIV
God will never forsake you. He is always present.

Jesus answered I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Don't be fooled. Pray for discernment and wisdom. Give Jesus you heart and mind. Tell him yes!

A Prayer For Rest

Father God my creator my all and all. Lord I thank you for today! You continue to show up and show out. Lord thank you for my family and friends. I pray for peace in their homes and a sound mind as they sleep. Protect and guard their hearts and minds.  Remove any distractions keeping them away from you. Fill their minds with wisdom and open their eyes to discernment. Bless their bodies, heal any  Hurts: sickness and sadness. Guide their steps as they continue to seek you. Thank you Father God for contining to create and build a better version of ourselves. Jesus we want to be like you. A Loving heart , forgiving spirit , words filled with wisdom and grace. I am so thankful for salvation.

Lord, I Love you. Jesus thank you! I love you. Because of you I have eternal life. I long to be like you and see you. One day you will say well done. And I will dwell with you. I thank you for these tests which are turning to testimonies. You already know Lord, the outcome of it all. For you knew us before we knew ourselves.

Lord help us to stay strong. We know the enemy cannot win. And if we fall weak, help us to remember your word and rebuke the enemy so he will flee. Increase our faith Lord. Stomp out the enemy. Allow us to remember on this road: only what we do for you will last. Help us to hear you clearly and to be obedient.
Lord thank you. Thank you.

Help us to eagerly share salvation with all we come in contact with. Jesus is too good not to share. Be a fence around us Lord. Again Lord remove anything or person that is not of you from us. Have mercy on us Lord. Please continue to reveil all to us that is not of you. Forgive us please don't take your hand off of us. Praise you Lord . How Holy is your name .  In Jesus Name , Amen.

The Village

It takes a village to raise a child. Constant but gentle direction, positive and productive influence, warm intense heartfelt motivation, all wrapped up in a  living breathing example. That's what God provides for us every day.

Our example is Jesus. And we must live a life that is an example of his teachings.

This next instruction carries more weight than most understand. For me it speaks to core values, as well as education and most importantly, Salvation.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

All throughout and every day of my life, God has been good to me. I pray and he answers. Grateful, I feel his love and the love of Jesus all around me.

Sometimes, I laugh and cry at the same time because I have a past that is continuously blossoming into my future / purpose. My testimony is unique because it is my personal growth on a road where I developed into a child of God. I share it with all who listen. My training was not a trade, praise God. It was my introduction to the man who is the son of God who died and rose from the dead for me. The good news: salvation. The best training my Mother could every provide for me.

As an adult raising male children, I didn't truly understand this passage. I made it my business that all in my house are / were saved. But a voice constantly encouraged and guided me to introduce my children to various opportunities that  included a multitude of cultures, ethnicities, and experiences.

And as they walk into adulthood, they have passion, skills, and trades. All three are productive citizens. But most importantly they know Jesus and are saved. They are not perfect and like me make mistakes. I am grateful they know how to go to God in prayer.

Now, I'm watching my nephews and understanding the differences of 6 year old twins. One carries a note book wanting  guidance as he writes. The other dribbling a basketball asking me to watch as he dribbles through his legs. Both are hungry for what's next. Our job is not done. Those seeds are growing and we (the village) must continue to introduce or expose them to other opportunities while being an example for them. For we must all do our part.

However, the most important influence we can instill is salvation. On a level they can understand.

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14 NKJV

Praying God's grace, mercy, love and protection over them all the days of their lives. God is so good he has already determined their purposes. I am so thankful.

Jesus is love and it is important to walk in love being careful and remembering Ephesians 6:4: And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

In today's society the youth are searching for something. This quest is leading to death and devastation. Jesus has given us the greatest gift, Eternal life. He wants us to live an abundant life. There is a better way.

We the village must make sure all of our young men and women live a life pleasing to God. We cannot give up on our babies. We must find a way to reach and teach them. And we all must work together.

How will you use your influence? Jesus has his arms open for the babies. Expose, teach, lead, send them to him.

Praying for our children.

Lineage

I was born of one mother and one father.
That was my beginning; But guess what, it is not my ending.

You see there are levels to this thing.
Not a perfect circle but pretty close to a ring .
We ran tight which at times led to small fights. Never lingering never lasting , always ending with Laughing and singing sometimes all during the night.

Now for the line up.
Mama Mama - Mother Supreme  was at the top of the org chart. Used  wisdom, guidance, correction and prayer to mold young minds. Pure Genius bka Grandmother Art.

Then my Mother a strong woman who provided the roof and the rules. Never did I crawl, no scars for me, my legs never had a bruise. Love, strength, and values mixed with We will make it drive and determination.

Next her six sisters who are third in command My second Mamas. Love me like there own. My hurt makes their soul ache with explosive greif heavy heart expanded.

Then there's us: The 1st cousins. We may have not lived in the same house, but we where raised as siblings. This blood thing is deep. So when one hurts we all hurt. Over the years our lives have changed. Some moved away and others stayed. Nevertheless, we remain only a phone call away.

I know my cousins all got me like I got them. Then and especially now. The males are my brothers. The females are my sisters. When you see us , you know we are blood. We roll deep. #blood #clan. No denying thoses cheeks. Thank God for good genes.

Many of them have had to step in and come to my aid. From advise to fighting my battles. I was always good when they step on the scene. That was then and now we fight a different way.  Instead of physical fighting, we  battle on our knees and pray.

No separations, we link up and come together with support and  kindnesses doing what we can. Remembering who we are. (Freeman clan)

Tooo many to name, too many memories to recount. We are bounded by blood and love. Remember this: nothing can separate us from the love of God. And nothing can separate my love for you.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

They say: “troubles don’t last always.”

The closer I move towards you, the more severe the attacks. I hear you and yearn for you. I know sometimes in the midst of the storm I am guilty of calling others while calling your name. In all honesty, that is growth because in the past I only looked to man for the answer, solution, escape or to validate my wrong. My memory is marked with this: “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” I must look to you only Lord, only to you. So now I pray, I ask God to guide and direct my steps saying “Lord Have Mercy, show me what to do?”

Thankful for discernment, I have a purpose and choose to walk towards accomplishments. Also understanding that the attacks of the enemy are a scheme, evil ploy to distract me from the light. Therefore, I say, do not take your eyes off the light. For when you look around, you begin to sink, doubt, and lose faith. Think about this, God has always provided. He will continue to provide. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1Cor 1:9) I repeat: He is faithful and time after time made a way.

I had to stop and ask myself: why do I run to man confessing, confiding, and seeking solace? And why do I feel empty after confiding, entrusting my secrets to someone who is not encouraging me to pray or praying for me? Well, that is because I know “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (Numbers 23:19). And as for man, we know: “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. “ (Romans 3:23). It is the nature of the world, meaning, Man provides a temporary fulfillment, gratification, or comfort. I am so grateful that God’s provisions are a life time of prefect peace when you leave burdens at the altar.

It is true: troubles will not last and the storms will always pass. The sun will rise and the tears will dry. Take everything to the Lord in prayer. Continue to believe in the power of his mighty word. Who else has created all we see by simply speaking it into existence? No one that is who. No one.

Solution: Try God for yourself in totality: praying, trusting, believing, and obeying. This is Key!

What is this?

It is peace. That's exactly what it is. I have never in my life felt this. I thought I knew what true peace felt like. But nope, I did not. (Never knew peace and that is sad.) Infact, I didn't because I would allow the enemy to use doubt, distractions, and self pity to consume me and disrupt my life. I was living a daily routine. (Not living not thriving in life.) Jesus explains: " The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 KJV

In my eyes, I was obeying God and following this fundamental principle:
"But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:31 KJV. Trying so hard to justify my wrong, I constantly debated with the holy spirit : God knows my heart. "Yeap , he does sweetie and you are not right." It was past time for me to realize I was lost and denial filled my heart.

God's peace is an amazing feeling. No words can begin to explain how incredible this is. Although the steps I list next are simple. They are not easy.
1. I restate the obvious: seek the kingdom of God. (Re-read top)

2 Arm yourself against the enemy by studying the word. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 KJV Meditate on scripute so you are always ready to fight the evil one who will appear in your mind or before your eyes,  in the flesh. And, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

3. No offense intended, but I was surrounded by people, places, and things who / that didnt challenge me to be a better person. And no it is not their fault. No shade, I'm not passing blame. All this was me! My own mess, I had to clean up. I just had to say Yes to God and no to self. I simply chose to walk away. You think this is cold or extreme? Well, finding my purpose, Gods will for my life became my primary goal and it was necessary.  We are taught in Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another." Galatians 5:22‭-‬26 KJV So, I must constantly examine my motives. Pray daily for God to remove anything that is displeasing to him.

4. Hold up! It doesnt stop there. There is an area that requires constant strengthening / maintenance: my faith.
Faith truely is believing; It is confidence and assurances in God's promises.
"Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;" Deuteronomy 7:9 KJV. Faith is not worrying but knowing God will provide. He always does. So why would he stop? He won't. He knew me before I knew myself, so he knows what I need. He loves me.

Thus, this is how I get here. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 KJV

Solution - Now here is the kicker. I must repeat all the steps daily to keep my peace.

Thank you to all the people God has placed in my life. You provide contant examples of fruits of the spirit. You also provide guidance and gentle correction.
(RS, HK, KMC, TW, HT, JJ, ACF, AD) (+)

So Grateful and Thankful.
Lord thank you for purpose.

Dont Let GO!

After all that I have done, Lord please don't take turn your back on me. I am not blameless and have made many mistakes. But God!

While reading the book of Hosea, and briefly reminiscing on the repeated rebellions of my own life; the following passages ring clearly in my head. And yes, FEAR is one of the main reasons why I must press forward, and not return to those days of sorrow.

“For this reason I will fence her in with thorn bushes. I will block her path with a wall to make her lose her way. 7 When she runs after her lovers, she won’t be able to catch them. She will search for them but not find them. Then she will think, ‘I might as well return to my husband, for I was better off with him than I am now.’ 8 She doesn’t realize it was I who gave her everything she has— the grain, the new wine, the olive oil; I even gave her silver and gold. But she gave all my gifts to Baal. (Hosea 2: 7-8)

You see for years I was trapped; no peace, no escape, doing things my way, wrapped in defiance, rebellion, and disobedience. At that time it was not clear, I was blind to the fact that God requires reverence and obedience and not pieces of me.

I plead with you, examine your situation. Take a good look at your actions and really view them for what they are. Are you in God's will, living according to his purpose for your life? Or, are you doing what you want to do? These things which are of this world consume and lead to death? "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death." (Proverbs 14:12) Worldly actions provide temporary happiness. When the buzz fades, you are left alone, hurt, and broken?

Today I exclaim: There is a cure for your woes. God requires a YES! And the next passage describes his longing to be in our lives. He does not want us to stay in that never ending cycle of ciaos.

14 "But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there. 15 I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Troublec into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. 16 When that day comes,” says the Lord, “you will call me ‘my husband’ instead of ‘my master.’d 17 O Israel, I will wipe the many names of Baal from your lips, and you will never mention them again. 18 On that day I will make a covenant with all the wild animals and the birds of the sky and the animals that scurry along the ground so they will not harm you. I will remove all weapons of war from the land, all swords and bows, so you can live unafraid in peace and safety. 19I will make you my wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion. 20 I will be faithful to you and make you mine, and you will finally know me as the Lord. (Hosea 2:14-20)

Not only did he win me back, but through grace I am forgiven. I understand, since I am forgiven and have corrected my walk; I am under constant attack from the enemy. However, my response must coincide with my faith. My belief is immeasurable. Therefore, my solutions to crises changed from cursing and fighting to fasting and praying. We must live by example to others. It is easy when you love people. Remember: Jesus loves us then and he loves us now.

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7)

Solution: Follow this advice: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”  (Mark 6:33)

The Importance of Prayer

We are instructed to pray our way through all situations and circumstances. "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17). That means all the time. Hence, we should also pray when the storm has passed. Prayer is the time we use to talk and build a relationship with God. Yes, it is our direct line of communication to our Father. As Grandma use to sing, "Jesus is on the main line, tell him what you want."

"ATTENTION" HEAR THIS: We can pray for ourselves. That is one of the privileges we have. A gift provided by the sacrifice of Jesus. Who was beaten and crucified on a cross for our sins. His selfless act paid the debt for us to talk to God. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son so that who should ever believe on him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) That is just on of the many benefits. When we build our relationship with God, things begin to change. He wants to talk with us. "And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him." (1 John 5:14) Most importantly, we will become aware of our ability to hear his voice guiding, leading, and protecting us. He is waiting on us.

Don't get me wrong, there is Great power in intercessory pray. I know that during those times when I was not consistently praying for myself; it is the prayers of My Mother and My Grandmother that are still credited for my well being. In fact, when I think about a few past events, I can only say God is faithful. He did not, and he will not fail. Because of them, I proclaim my Father kept me. "We walk be faith and not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7) Furthermore, the reason why my team continuous to grow is because I believe in this: "The effectual fervent prays of the righteous man availed much." (James 5:16)

Solution : Continue to pray, not just sometimes, but all the time.  You will see things begin to improve in your life and you will build a relationship with God.

My God My God

Today I had a true reality of what the Peace that surpasses all understanding feels like. Our team prayed all day for all who needed it. And although the enemy tried. Ha, he could not take my peace. I owe the Glory to God. He is healing and restoring. We have the faith of a mustard seed. And he is doing just what he said. I love you Jesus and I thank you so much ... Glory to God who reins in heaven and on earth. He gives what we need. And if he doesn't do anything else , I can truly say he has supplied all my needs.
Recognize the power ! For at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus is Lord ! Again Thank you Jesus Thank you Jesus!

God's Will Versus my desires

God's Will Versus my desires..

This morning I am struggling. I am in process of checking my heart for anything that is not of God. I am praying for wisdom and continue to seek the kingdom. I say this because I know Only what is for God will last. I do not want to move left, right, forward, any direction without him. I only want to do God's will. But with that I must constantly study the word and learn exactly what that means. I must also pray, fast, and use discernment to stay connected to God.

For when we are connected and obedient Deuteronomy teaches in (1:29-31) 29"Then I said to you, 'Do not be shocked, nor fear them. 30' The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, 31and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, just as a man carries his son, in all the way which you have walked until you came to this place.'…God will provide. I do not have to fear or doubt. I only need to seek, listen, and obey.

You ask: how will I know? I know because I listen for my Father's voice. And I am thankful for the Holy Spirit that convicts me and keeps me on God’s path.  (John 16:) 8. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God's righteousness, and of the coming judgment.

Bottom line is that I want to do God's will and not my own. It is true he loves me and he will provide. He will provide what is in his Will which means what I need; not necessarily what I want. So in my prayers, I have learned to ask for things in his Will and in Jesus names.

Solution - Pray for Wisdom.

Faithful with a few!

So, In my obedience, I can hear my Lord speaking. He is now saying be faithful with a few.

"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (Matt 25:23.)

I do not know what is to come. I am excited and thankful for the possibilities.

My happiness comes when I have the opportunity to pray for others and share the goodness of Jesus. I have always been an extremists; and so now, I am radical for Christ. I am ALL IN.  I have no preconceived motives, no deceit. I only want to help the lost reunite with Jesus or bring souls to Christ.

I feel God all around. I am so thankful I am in this place. There is much to do and I have to stay focused. When others come I must provide substances (the truth) and lead them to Jesus. I no longer say: no, I cant. I have to do this or I have to do that. I say Yes to God. I am aware, listening, and obeying God studying and praying.

For, this is a movement. I must stand for purpose. No more laying down or silence. God will provide all I need to be successful on this journey. "He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it."
(1 Thessalonians 5:24)

Solution for overcoming "I cant;" is remove self. There is always a way. Tell the Lord Yes. But most importantly remember this: "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). Worldly things are temporary. We have eternal life through Jesus!.

Spiritual Warfare

Amazed and thankful for the provisions God has provided. So grateful for the opportunities of escape. I love him beyond understanding. Although the enemy attacks, I know I am a child of the most high and stand firm in the knowledge that my Lord is supreme to all. Jesus has already won. And salvation is mine.

I learned in Ephesians that I must:
"Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:11-12 NLThttp://bible.com/116/eph.6.11-12.NLT

Be ready, never let down your guard. For if you do , the evil one is waiting to sneek in with deceit and lies. For that is all he is darkness. His purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to divide and separate us from Gods love. Satan has no power over us! He cannot win!

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 NLT
http://bible.com/116/rom.8.39.NLT

However, we know God has provided Jesus who is the light. He is Joy Love Peace. "Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
Ephesians 6:13 NLT http://bible.com/116/eph.6.13.NLT

As they say, no test no testimony. I know after the test, victory is mine.

Solution never stop refueling and meditating on the promises of God.

Is this Judgment or Correction?

Sometimes I find myself questioning motives. As I move forward on my journey, I am discovering everyone may not understand or most importantly: may not be where I am. Some are more advanced (who I strive to surround myself with) or beginners. I am somewhere in between. And, I acknowledge that. I know my walk with Christ is unique to me. So, I choose to do things a little different. I am not traditional. And I am ok with that.
So as I consider the topic: Judgment or Correction. I am reminded in Matthew how I should handle sin in the church. (Everyday life as well.)

15 “If your brother or sister[a] sins,[b] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. (Matt 18:15) My take on this is that correction is something that should be done in LOVE. Never in a crowd hiding behind a joke or any instance that can cause embarrassment.
Judgment defined: "1. the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions." 2. a misfortune or calamity viewed as a divine punishment." 4. the forming of an opinion, estimate, notion, or conclusion, as from circumstances presented to the mind: 5. the opinion formed: 7. a misfortune regarded as inflicted by divine sentence, as for sin.

 Synonyms:

discernment, acumen, shrewdness, astuteness, sense, common sense, perception, perspicacity, percipience, acuity, discrimination, reckoning, wisdom, wit, judiciousness, prudence, canniness, sharpness, sharp-wittedness, powers of reasoning, reason, logic; savvy, horse sense, street smarts, gumption
MoreNow what does the Bible saw about this topic:

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Matt 7:1-3

Solution:

My golden rule is encourage and uplift all. And as the saying goes: If you do not have anything nice to saw, do not say it. Then delete that thought from your mind. In Essence, correct in Love and in Private.

Obedience -What Now Lord

Why Must I Do What I Hear God Saying To Me?
Please allow me to explain…

Less than 12 months ago my life began a transformation, a new journey. At the time, I was unaware. But it did. And once it began I could not stop / change it. (Well, unless I stepped outside God’s will) Which I did over and over. And true to his word in spite of me, He kept me and did not allow me to sink.

I was hurt emotionally, battered and financially drained. But God. He never left. I strayed. Good thing for me I know my way back when I hear my Fathers voice. Jesus said: 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (John 10:27 NKJV)Problem was I was hearing but it was faint. You see, I had to stop some things in order to clearly hear him calling to me. How do I know? Well, I no longer do the things of the world I loved to do. The cursing and clubs no longer appeal to me. (Listen)

But the most obvious reason is that I began to hear: Get up go to Church. Then, come here every Sunday. Next, I heard: Get to Sunday school. Then, come here every Sunday. Next, I heard you need to be at bible study on Thursday night.

Well, after my first bible study. I was troubled all night. I tossed and turn. God was calling for me and it grow stronger and louder. But I was still outside of his will and I was lost. I woke up saying Lord what do you want me to do? My soul was troubled. Then it happened, God began giving me the strength to say no to the things and people of the world that are not meant to go where he wants me to go. He began putting people in my path that sent me to the word to rediscover him for myself. Over and over, everywhere I turned I heard and saw “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” Matt 6:33

All I know is I have PEACE JOY LOVE and COMPASION.

I am hungry for the knowledge. And I want to share the message of SALVATOION to others. So you see, I have to obey because the world does not love me. “Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”  John 14:23

How do I know he loves me? Because Jesus died and rose again so that I can have eternal life. Who else would do that for me or you?

Brothers Keeps

We have all heard the saying " I am my brother's keep."  However, the irony is sadly in most instances this is not a true declaration.

The exact occurance is found in Genesis 4:9 "Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" "I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"

We are accountable for our actions and our behavior towards others. Greed, jealously and ill intentions are tricks of the enemy used to keep you from the will of God.

Studying today I read the following:

Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble. 1 John 2:10 NLT
http://bible.com/116/1jn.2.10.NLT

The light is peace, the light is love, the light is Salvation: Eternal life through Jesus.

I want to be more like Jesus so that I can stay in Gods will.

Tears of the chosen

Today as I fight for peace, I woke up  sad and feeling somewhat dismayed. But on my way to church a word if encouragement reignited my hope.

Psalm 56:8New Living Translation (NLT)

8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.

I find relief knowing this. So why should I feel sad? God loves me and wants the best for me. It is at these times, when I am not studying as I should, reading and hearing the word, that I feel this way.

Therefore my solution  to overcoming sadness and gloom: Stay in your word!

Matthew 6:33King James Version (KJV)

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

There  is an old saying that tells us: "An idle mind is the devils workshop." Hence, Stay focused, busy working for the kingdom, building you.

How do we handle adversity?

There are so many tricks and snares we must be on guard against. Adversity- difficulty. Well we are instructed to live in peace.  If at all possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Roma's 12:18 (niv) So remember we must remove self and remember we are all guilty of being difficult and stubborn.

However, when you surround yourself and the situation in love , you can conquer the most difficult circumstances.

Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.  Pslams 34:14. Continue to do what God desires of you. And focus on good.

Hence the cure for adversity is peace.

Be Encouraged

There is an old saying "if you think you can't, you won't.' This is a trick of the enemy and your declaration of self defeat. Remember you are a child of the most high God and you can do anything in his will. So start saying I can because I am a child destined to not fail.
Continue to pray, all the time, constantly, without stopping. Pray for each other. Have faith, believe in the truth, the light. Jesus is the way the truth and the light and his sacrifice saved us. And seek the Kingdom. Do stay the course. Continue to fight the good fight. That is against the enemy. Do God's will. Spread the message of Jesus Christ. Love one another. #shareJesus #byallmeans #iamNicholesf.

Giving to it hurts!

Dear Lord;
So, if I could do it all over again, I would tithe 10%, save 10%, and invest 10% from my first pay check until for ever. I would not have never ever ever, ever ever ,  taken money from my children's education.
God has blessed me. And he keeps blessing me. I have made too many mistakes. Lord forgive me for not investing and increasing my blessings. I have wasted and can not wait for this to turn around for me. I trust and believe all is working out for MY good. Thank you Lord for all my blessings.

Love you Lord .
Your baby ☺
